  • Spring Respite Day-50 children attended

  • Ho Ho Ho-down Holiday Party at Cotton Eye Joes. We had approximately 325 Children and Families attend.
  • Individual Family Respite-funded approximately $9500 worth of requests
  • Family Emergencies-funded approximately $3600 worth of requests
  • Family Assistance-funded approximately $2500 worth of requests
  • Parent Professional Library Materials and Adaptive Equipment and Toys-purchased approximately $3275 of materials

Additionally, the East TN Region has received an amazing gift from the advertising group Harrison O’Neil Communications, and two parents, Elizabeth Sawinski (graphic designer) and Julie Dougherty (marketing). This gift resulted in the creation of the Infant Toddler HELPLINE, which is a tool to help families better understand child development milestones and to help them address any concerns regarding their child’s development.

This project has resulted in a public awareness plan, posters, brochures, advertisements, and public service announcements. Materials have been shared with health departments, physicians, therapy centers, child care centers, and families.

We have been blessed with the community of volunteers that has brought this project to a reality
